The February 2014 issue of Guitar World depicts a familiar face on the cover, as Eddie Van Halen is featured along with an extensive interview inside the magazine.
The legendary guitarist discusses the building of his own home studio, which began as a demo room and exploded into a professional recording facility, and the making of the landmark album 1984.
“I did not initially set out to build a full-blown studio,” Van Halen told Guitar World. “I just wanted a better place to put my music together so I could show it to the guys. I never imagined that it would turn into what it did until we started building it.”
