The 2012 EVH Showcase at NAMM featured some big names throughout the weekend, whether they were playing demos, signing autographs, or just mingling with convention-goers.
Leading the way were guitar virtuosos Orianthi and Sharon Aguilar, who signed autographs side-by-side for the hundreds of eager fans on the third floor of the Anaheim Convention Center.
After she was the lead guitarist on Michael Jackson’s This Is It tour, Orianthi (right) joined Alice Cooper’s band and released a five-song solo EP – Fire – last October.
Aguilar (left) plays lead guitar and violin for Scarlet Fever, Cee-Lo Green’s backing band.
In addition to the two female shredders, Unearth‘s Buz and Ken Susi; Forbidden‘s Steve Smyth and Craig; Winds of Plague‘s Nick Piunno and Nick Eash; and Tommy Victor of Prong and Danzig signed autographs on Friday.
The following day, Van Halen bassist Wolfgang Van Halen stopped by the EVH booth to chat with product manager Chris Cannella, as did Taylor Swift guitarist Paul Sidoti and Mike Martin of All That Remains.
