The latest EVH® Wolfgang WG Standard model landed on Vintage Guitar magazine’s “Approved Gear” list, earning high marks from reviewer Oscar Jordan for its specialized appointments that cater to brisk playing.
“The oiled neck is like butter and wide enough to anchor a good grip but not so girthy it slows you down,” wrote Jordan of the model’s baked maple neck. “The low action on our tester helped matters and was perfect for speedy runs.”
Jordan also praised the body design for its seamless and comfortable performance.
“The WG Standard’s body cut brings the player closer to the strings and access to the higher frets is a breeze,” he wrote.
“It’s effortless to play, makes soloing fun and its price point is tough to beat.”
