On Tuesday, Jimmy Kimmel Live aired the second part of Van Halen’s historic performance on the late-night program, and it proved to be just as incendiary as the first.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Famers were celebrating the release of their first live album with singer David Lee Roth – Tokyo Dome Live in Concert – and they did it in grand fashion, shutting down Hollywood Boulevard for the special concert. Previously, we passed along video of Van Halen playing “Runnin’ With the Devil” and “Panama,” and now clips of “Eruption,” “You Really Got Me” and “Hot For Teacher” are available in all their fiery glory.
Van Halen is set to embark on a North American tour beginning July 5 in Seattle, and as their slot on Kimmel demonstrated, the band is ready to rock.
