Tokyo Motor Fist, a supergroup featuring Danger Danger singer Ted Poley, Trixter guitarist Steve Brown, bassist Greg Smith (Ted Nugent, Rainbow and Alice Cooper) and drummer Chuck Burgi (Rainbow, Blue Oyster Cult), will drop sophomore album Lions on July 10.
In advance, the band has released an official music video for lead single “Youngblood.”
“The guitar intro for ‘Youngblood’ was totally inspired by Eddie Van Halen’s ‘Hot for Teacher,’ Alex Lifeson’s ‘Spirit of the Radio’ & Paul Gilbert’s ‘Green Tinted Sixties Mind,’” wrote Brown on his Instagram account. “Why the hell not start the song with a kickass guitar solo piece? Go Big or Go Home …words to rock with!!!🤟🏼👊🦁”
